The Sampling Setup page is used to configure the Sampling Times and Sampling Clock.
Click the "Next" button when you have finished setting all items and want to use the wizard to make Start Trigger Setup.

Description |
①Sampling Clock Clock Type = Internal clock |
- Sampling is performed at the timing of the internal clock of the device when you select "Clock Type = Internal clock". - Sets the period in "Internal
Clock Settings." - Update Interval specifies the number
of samples displayed on the YT graph at each update. - Internal Clock (with specified period) The frequency changes automatically
when the period value in "Internal Clock" setting is
specified. μsec (microsecond) The internal clock can be set 0.025 μsec unit. Note that fractions are truncated. Example) If you specify 10.040 μsec for the clock, the set value will be adjusted to 10.025 μsec. - Internal Clock (with specified frequency) "Internal Clock" setting
can also be set by frequency. Hz The internal clock can be set 0.025 μsec unit. Note that fractions are truncated. Example) When 3KHz is specified for the frequency, the clock to be set is 333.325 μsec. |
①Sampling Clock Clock Type = External clock
|
- Sampling is performed at the timing of the clock signal input from the outside when you select "Clock Type = External clock". External clock (Falling edge): Sampling
is performed at the timing of the falling edge of the clock signal
input from the outside. - The update interval specifies the
frequency at which data is added to the YT graph. The timing at which the
entire YT graph is cleared and redrawn from the beginning of the
graph is adjusted by the memory size parameter in Memory
Option. - On the AI-1204Z-PE and AI-1204Z2-PCI, the YT graph may temporarily appear unchanged. On the AI-1204Z-PE and AI-1204Z2-PCI, data is transferred to the PC every 128 to 512 samples to optimize operation. Therefore, the YT graph display may temporarily
appear unchanged, although sampling continues normally. When data collection ends, any remaining data is transferred to the PC. |
②Sampling Times |
Select Finitude or Infinity for Sampling Times. |
③Conversion Speed |
Specify conversion speed. |
④Repeat Times |
Specify repeat times. Repeat Times specifies the number of repetitions from the start to the completion of sampling. Some settings may not be possible. It depends on your device. |
⑤Back Button |

⑥Next Button |
Proceed to the next wizard screen. (Start Trigger Setup) |
⑦Finish Button |
All subsequent wizard settings are the default values. |
⑧Cancel Button |
Cancels the wizard setup. All wizard settings are discarded. |
