The connected Ethernet device does not appear in the utility

There are several possible causes.

1."XXX-NET-TYPE1" has not been manually installed.

Please perform "Add legacy hardware" from Device Manager.
For details, please refer to the device manual.

2.The network environment does not support multicast communication.

CONTEC Device Utility uses multicast communication to detect Ethernet devices.
Normally, you can use it without changing the IP address of the PC, but multicast communication may not be possible depending on the network environment.

Please try the following actions.

- Change the IP address of the PC to the same network layer as the IP address of the device.
Example: If the IP address of the device is [192.168.0.1], set the IP address of the PC to [192.168.0.100].

- Try specifying the IP address of the device using the "Manual detect" button.
Please refer to the device manual for IP address initial value etc. of the Ethernet device.
