About Acquisition Setting

Q3-1. How long is possible for long-time acquisition?

A3-1.
The infinite acquisition is supported as specification of C-LOGGER. It is dependent on the availability of hard disk in fact.

Q3-2. Is it possible to save the file automatically when the acquisition finished?

A3-2.
Yes.
By using the option of “Auto Save” with the wizard, the file will be saved automatically when the acquisition finished.

Q3-3. Can the auto-save of acquisition data be performed at any timing or any number of data?

A3-3.
Auto save is basically performed when data acquisition is completed, but it is also performed during data acquisition when performing long-term data acquisition.

The timing of saving during data acquisition is when converted data for the memory size used by C-LOGGER is accumulated (when the data is drawn to the right end of the screen in the YT graph).
Therefore, it is adjustable by modifying the size of memory to be used in C-LOGGER. ([View]-[Memory Option])

Q3-4. Is it possible to perform the calibration of the analog device?

A3-4.
Calibration cannot be performed with C-LOGGER. Please refer to the manual for your device.

Q3-5.How should I do the connection when I want to start the acquisition by trigger signal?

A3-5.
Please refer to the figure of signal assignment of hardware specification.
Connect trigger signal to AI External Start Trigger Input and Digital Ground.

Q3-6. Can external clock be used?

Yes. it is supported to stop the acquisition by external trigger in version 1.40.

Q3-8. Is there a function to automatically repeat data acquisition?

A3-8.
For devices with repeat function, C-LOGGER supports acquisition using repeat function in version 1.50.
For devices that have no repeat function, there is no automatic restart or repeat acquisition function.

To acquire data again with the same settings, select [File] - [New], and then you can start the next acquisition only with the "Start logging" command.

In addition, since the previous settings are memorized in the acquisition wizard, even if you open the acquisition wizard and "Finish", the settings will be the same as the previous settings.
