1. Open MonitorCnt.vi from the CNT folder in the sample VI folder
2. Enter the device name to use in the "DeviceName" field.
If the device name confirmed by the device manager is
"CNT000" (initial value), you can leave it as it is.
3. Make other settings in the "Channel Setting" column.
In case of uncertainty please check the commentary etc.
4. Execute VI and input a pulse to Ch0.
Please confirm that CntData (count value) in "Read"
column changes.
You can also check the signal change of the input
terminal in "Status" column.
The meaning of the symbol in "Status" column
of this sample is described.
A: It is the input status of Phase A
B: Input status of Phase B
Z: Input status of phase Z
U: Input status of general-purpose input
D: Indicates the counting direction ([OFF] up count / [lighting] down count)
If you can read the number of input pulses, operation confirmation is
completed.
