Sample Explanation

This is a sample dedicated to digital devices with a fail-safe function.
Refer to this sample for how to use the advanced function "Fail-safe Function".
Use the utility software (CONTEC Device Utility) to set the fail-safe function itself.

Due to the characteristics of this sample, even if an error occurs, it does not end and displays the error in "Error Out" and continues.
When you want to stop, click the "Stop" button to exit the loop.

Depending on the product you are using and the communication status, it may take some time to generate an error such as a timeout.
In this case, please note that the VI cannot be operated for a while.
If you press the "Stop" button and wait, the VI will exit after an error occurs.

If an "Invalid ID has been specified" error occurs, initialization has failed, and recovery will not be possible even if it is executed as is.
Click the "Stop" button to end the sample, check the communication to the target device with Ping etc. and try again.

Also, make sure that the device name (DeviceName) matches.
