Counter Setting per Channel [cnt_ch_set.vi]

 

It is used for executing the setting of the counter in channel unit.

Please execute before starting counter.

Input terminal

OperationMode

"-1" can be set

Initial value 1:0:0

Specify the operation mode (Phases, Clear, Multiplier) with 3 element class 

■ Element 1: Phase

  Specify the number of phases of the pulse to be input

0: 1-Phase
1: 2-Phase
2: Gate control

■ Element 2: Multiplier

  Specify multiplier of the pulse to be input

0: 1x
1: 2x
2: 4x

■ Element 3: SyncClear

  Specify clear condition (synchronous clear/asynchronous clear)

0: Asynchronous clear
1: Synchronous clear

*Initial setting is "2-phase", "1x", "asynchronous clear"

 

ZphaseSetting

"-1" can be set

Initial value 0:1

Specify the usage of Z-Phase and logic setting with 2 element class

■ Element 1: Usage (ZMode)

  Specify the usage of Z-Phase

0: Not Used
1: Next One Time
2: Every Time

■ Element 2: Logic (ZLogic)

  Specify the input logic of Z-Phase

0: Positive logic
1: Negative logic

* Initial setting is "unused", "negative logic"

 

SignalType

"-1" can be set

Initial value 1 (TTL)

Specify the signal type (Photocoupler/TTL/Differential) of the pulse to be input

0: Photocoupler
1: TTL
2: Differential

* For the signal types that can be set, refer to the explanation manual of the used device please

 

CntDirection

"-1" can be set

Initial value 1 (Up-count)

Specify the count direction

0: Down count
1: Up count

 

DIType

"-1" can be set

Initial value -1 (It does not change)

Specify the signal type (Differential/TTL) of the general-purpose input

0: Differential
1: TTL

* This setting is suitable only for CNT24-4D(PCI)H
  If you want to use another device, please disconnect it or connect "-1"

* When not connected in the initial state, it becomes 0 (Differential)

 

CntChannel

Initial value: 0

[Essential]
Specify the channel number for channel setting

 

Operate with initial value

The settings for each input terminal has an initial value.

For example, since the initial value of the count direction "CntDirection" of the counter input is "1 (Up-count)",

In case of using up count, "CntDirection" does not need to be set especially.
