If you need information not contained in this help or experience any abnormal behavior on the part of this CONTEC product, please contact CONTEC Technical Support Center.

If you call the Center by phone, however, it may be difficult for the customer support personnel to understand your inquiry in detail. Instead, please inform us of your questions by Web form.

If you find an operation error, please describe it in detail. It may be attributable to your hardware environment including your PC or another board used or to the version of the samples.

We are afraid of not responding to general inquiries such as for programming techniques.

 

Before making an inquiry

 

CONTEC Technical Support Center needs to check whether the problem is caused by a fault in hardware or software of by a programming error in order to provide appropriate support.

If you suspect an operation error, please confirm the steps to reproduce and the problem occurrence location, then tell us as much detail as possible.

 

   - Used PC information

     Please provide information ablout OS, CPU, memory, etc.

 

   - Used sample information

     Please provide information about TCP or RTU, and the language you used.

 

   - Used slave device information and connection configuration

     Please provide information such as manufacturer and model.

     Also, please configure the connection such as the presence or absence of a HUB, router, and media converter.

 

   - Please also provide the result of simple operation check.
