Perform these settings when using the SNMP agent feature.
- Community Name: SNMP verification string. This acts like a password for access using SNMP.
The SNMP administrator can use this name to access the device's MIB information. (Up to 31 standard alphanumeric characters (case sensitive))
- Access: Set access permissions for community name.
Set whether "Read Only" or "Read & Write" is permitted.
- Send Trap: Specify whether to notify the SNMP administrator of MIB data access errors and startup (cold start).
- IP Address: Set the IP address to which to send SNMP trap packets.
Can only be set when "Send Trap" above is enabled.
- Name: Set the SNMP device name for the network device. (A character string of up to 31 characters)
- Location: Set the physical location of the network device.
For example, "Development Dept., 8th Floor". (A character string of up to 31 characters)
- Contact: Set the administrator contact details for the network device.
For example, set the network administrator's name and telephone number. (A character string of up to 31 characters)
