When Through Mode is used, the Setting for media converter such as baud rate cannot be modified by programming from external.
However, please make sure to match the serial communication settings of the media converter, such as baud rate and parity, of the application or other device being used.
The serial communication settings for the media converter are configured in [Setting Utility] - [Edit] - [Basic Settings] - [Detail Settings].
- If using broadcasting, ensure that all media converter units have different device IDs.
- Device ID 255 is reserved for broadcast use.
- Basically, existing application can generally continue to be used without change.
　Note that they may not operate correctly if particular RS-232C control procedures are used (see below).
