Function

Retrieves the number of I/O ports of a device.

Format

Ret = DioGetMaxPorts ( Id , InPortNum , OutPortNum )

Parameters

Id [ VB.NET: Short ] [ C, C++: short ] [ C#: short ] [ Python: ctypes.c_short ]
Specify the device ID retrieved from DioInit.

InPortNum [ VB.NET: Short ] [ C, C++: short * ] [ C#: out short ] [ Python: ctypes.POINTER(ctypes.c_short) ]
Specify the address of the variable to store the number of input ports.

OutPortNum [ VB.NET: Short ] [ C, C++: short * ] [ C#: out short ] [ Python: ctypes.POINTER(ctypes.c_short) ]
Specify the address of the variable to store the number of output ports.

Return Value

Ret [ VB.NET: Integer ] [ C, C++: long ] [ C#: int ] [ Python: ctypes.c_long ]
