Counter Operation Mode Setting

The necessary mode setting for counter operation is described as follows.
For the details of each function used and how to set it, please refer to Function Reference.

Set signal source

Set external signal source to TTL, Photocoupler or Differential. (CntSelectChannelSignal function)

 

Mono-phase / 2-phase / Gate Control

Set how to use input signal A phase and B phase. (CntSetOperationMode function)

 

Multiplier (1X / 2X / 4X)

Set how to count input signal A phase and B phase. (CntSetOperationMode function)

 

Set clear mode

Set either synchronous clear or asynchronous clear. (CntSetOperationMode function)

 

Set count direction

Set whether to count up or count down for the input pulse. (CntSetCountDirection function)

 

Set Z phase usage

Set Z phase usage count (Not Used / Next One Time / Every Time). (CntSetZMode function)

 

Set Z phase logic

Set Z phase logic (Positive / Negative). (CntSetZLogic function)

 

Set digital filter

Set the digital filter coefficient. (CntSetDigitalFilter function)
