Infinite Sampling Sample [Infinite]





Remarks


It is a sampling sample performing infinite transfer.


How to use

  1. Enter the device name registered by Device Manager into Device Name. Click the [CntInit] button.

  2. Click the [Counter Mode] button, then the [Counter Mode Setting] dialog is displayed.



 

  1. Click the [OK] button after setting counter mode.

  2. Click the [Condition...] button, then the [Infinite Sampling Condition Setting] dialog is displayed.




 

  1. Click the [OK] button after setting sampling condition.

  2. Click the [Start] button.

  3. Click the [Stop] button to stop the transfer.
    In addition, for that the transferred data will be written into a file, the size of the data file grows when the sampling continued for a long time.
    However, the writing operation into a file stops as the moment when it can not match up to the high transfer rate.

  4. When the sampling completed, "Stopped!" is displayed in the Status text box.

  5. Click the [Data...] button to display the sampled data.

  6. Click the [Count] button to display the number of transferred data into the Count text box.

  7. Click the [Status] button to display transfer status into the Status text box.

  8. Click the [CntExit] button to stop using the device.

  9. Click the [Exit] button to exit the program.

 

Supplement

"Overrun Error!" may be displayed in transferring.

The driver software recognized the status of overwrite buffer when occurring "the notification of specified time sampling completion" event.
It immediately stops to write data to csv file anymore after "Overrun Error" message. Because these data in buffer in buffer are already over-written by invalid data.

Data transfer is still continuing even though "Overrun Error" is displayed.
Please click "Stop" button if you want to stop transferring.

The root cause may set the faster clock speed on your PC's performance.

Please try to set the slower internal clock before you click "Start" button, again.
Or please slow down your external clock speed in the case of referring the external clock circuit.
