When the input and output are performed for a long time by using the device buffer of FIFO, the sampling may be stopped for the Sampling Clock Period Error.
Though there are some causes resulting in Sampling Clock Period Error, the frequency of error occurrence resulting from not being able to process in time varies with the environment used.
Computer Specification
The faster processing speed of CPU, the higher processing ability of driver.
The using state of the other processes
The more other processes are used, the less CPU time is allocated to the driver.
On the contrary, the fewer other processes are used, the more CPU time is allocated to the driver.
Mouse/Keyboard operation
The driver for mouse/keyboard is always running, and if you use mouse/keyboard, the driver will process accordingly.
So, the CPU time allocated to the driver is decreased.
Reference values of measuring data for continuous sampling are list in Measuring Analog Input and Measuring Analog Output.
