Installing Device Driver

Installing device driver is necessary for using driver software.
The methods of installing device driver vary with the bus type of hardware devices, OS and so on.
Please refer to the item corresponding to your environment from the table below.
And, please use administrator (Administrator) authority to install a device driver.

You should set the device name after installing a device driver.
The device name is namely the name being set to a hardware device, and hardware devices are distinguished in an application by setting the device names.

Setting and Confirming Device Name

After setting the device name, you should verify simple operation of the hardware device using Diagnosis Program.
And you can click [Diagnosis] button in the property page to start up Diagnosis Program.

When the old driver API-TOOL(98/PC) was used

In this case, you should first remove the old driver.
