When Using an Older Version of Windows OS or Development Tools

API-TOOL(WDM) has revised specifications such as supported OS and development environment in November 2024.
Please make sure that the Windows OS and development tool you are using are supported, and then upgrade the version of API-TOOL (WDM).

For the supported OS and development tool, please refer to the driver specification table of each driver software.

After November 2024

  Exempting from "Supported Development Language" : Python 3.8

Cause : Became unsupported versions. (End of life : October 07, 2024)

After October 2022

  Exempting from "Supported development tools": Visual Studio 2010, Visual Studio 2012 and Visual Studio 2013
   * Because Windows 10 has not been included in the system requirements

 

After April 2020

  Exempting from "Supported OS": Windows 8.1/XP and earlier
  Exempting from "Supported development tools": Visual Studio 2008 and earlier, Delphi, C++ Builder

 

Old Version of API-TOOL(WDM)

Even if the version of Windows OS or development tool you are using is not supported by the latest API-TOOL, you can download the old version of API-TOOL from CONTEC's Web Site.
We always recommend using the latest API-TOOL(WDM), but please use the old version as necessary.
