Installing procedure

1. Please install device driver before installing a hardware device. And please go to step 2 when you have already installed the device driver.
   
   Installing from API-PAC(W32) media
   
   1-1. Run <media>\Autorun.exe, then select [Install Development or Execution Environment].
   1-2. Install the necessary device driver.
   
   Installing the driver downloaded from WEB
   
   1-1. Extract the downloaded file in an appropriate folder.
   1-2. For Windows 10
        Run <the folder where the file was extracted>\INF\WDM\GPIB_ForWin10\Setup.exe to install the driver.
   
        For other Windows
        Run <the folder where the file was extracted>\INF\WDM\GPIB\Setup.exe to install the driver.
   
   
   The screens below show the installation of API-GPIB(WDM).
   
   
   
   Click [Next>].
   
   
   
   Accept the license agreement, then click [Next>].
   
   
   
   When the setup is completed, the version of the installed device driver is displayed. In this example, Ver3.0.0.0 is installed.

2. Please turn the PC off when you want to install a hardware device. You can plug in devices such as USB with OS started.

3. By starting up OS or plugging in a device, the device will be installed automatically. Please confirm the device name before using the device.
   

When the following screen displays

Click [Cancel] on the following screen, that displays when you install a hardware device without installing the device driver. Then install the device driver according to the same method as "Installing procedure-step 1". After the installation, please confirm the device name before using the device.
