Sets the timing of external clock input.

Format

Ret = AioSetAoClockEdge ( Id , AoClockEdge )

Parameters

Id [ C, C++ : short ] [ Python : ctypes.c_short ]
Specifies the Device ID retrieved from AioInit function.

AoClockEdge [ C, C++ : short ] [ Python : ctypes.c_short ]
Sets the timing of external input from the following range.

Initial value

External input falling edge is used for all devices. *

Remarks

If the external clock is set by AioSetAoClockType function, it is possible to set external trigger falling edge or rising edge.
When internal clock is being used, the setting by this function is invalid.

This function cannot be used on devices without the analog output function.
If the device is in operation, the function cannot be performed.

In these devices, whether AioSetAiClockEdge function can be used or not depends on manufacturer's serial version. This function returns 20001 error as unsupported version of hardware is being used.
