Finding Information with the Index

The Index tab contains a list of keywords that have been associated with many of the MSDN Library topics. This index is similar to a book index.

To locate a topic using the index

1. In the navigation pane, click the Index tab and then either type or select a keyword you want to find information about.

2. After you have selected a keyword, click Display.

3. From the list of topics found, select the topic you want and then click Display.
